About Me

I was born and raised in the rural community of Braymer, MO., located in Caldwell County.

After high school I worked in the restaurant industry for a few years in management.

In my early twenties I decided to go to college for Information Technology and graduated with an associate’s degree in network administration.

I started my career in Information Technology in June of 2000. I worked in the Information Technology field for three years and decided I wanted to fulfill my lifelong dream of becoming a police officer.

I enrolled in the police academy and graduated in December of 2003. I started my career in Law-Enforcement in February of 2004.

Throughout the years I have worked for various departments, including at one point holding the rank of Chief of Police.

I returned full-time to the Information Technology field in 2006; however, I continued to serve in the role of Chief of Police until 2009 working up to 30 hours a week in addition to my full-time job.

In 2005, I met the love of my life Misty, and we have two beautiful daughters Ollie and Emeline.

Since 2009 I have stayed very active in Law-Enforcement working part-time and reserve jobs.

In 2013 I attained a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.

I currently work as a Systems Analyst in the Information Technology field and work as a Reserve Police Officer in a municipality located in Lafayette County, Mo

I was elected to the Independence City Council in 2020 and re-elected in 2024, where I have accomplished many notable items.
